On Thursday May 28 at 6:30 p.m. the choir took the stage to perform songs from the 50s, 60s, 80s, and today for the pop show. Songs included modern singles such as “I Gotta Feeling” by The BlackEyed Peas. The 80s were represented with “Hit me with your best shot/one way or another” and also “Footloose.” Each choir dressed in costume according to the decade they were assigned.
Standout performances included when senior Bryce Hendry did his amazing solo performance of ‘Stand By Me” and when sophomores Oneekah Hall and Octavia Moore performed. “RESPECT” by Otis Redding.
Before the concert ended the Choir teacher Mrs. Johnson Gave each of the seniors flowers. The varsity choir ended the night with the last performance before the seniors had to go.
