Sophomore Joshua Morgan is the only person from this school to advance to the regional track meet after advancing from both district and area in the long jump competition.
“I know I couldn’t do it without the support of my team and coaches,” Morgan said.
To train Joshua has been doing squats, one leg squats, and pop ups. Area was Morgan’s longest jump of 21’6.75″. He has been into the long jump ever since middle school, he says his “coaches have faith in him.”
He will jump at region at 2:30 p.m. May 1 at Alamo Stadium.
